Arugampul is a grass that is native to the eastern hemisphere and is grown in tropical climates. In India, it is considered a sacred plant and is important in Ayurveda.

Throughout the year. It thrives in a tropical climate with ample water and sunlight. It can grow in various types of soil.

This grass  is erect to prostrate growing upto 1 feet tall.
